D-Marin Lefkas Marina is once again the main sponsor of the Lefkada Green Half Marathon, reinforcing its commitment to supporting the local community of Lefkas. The event, now in its 11th year, is scheduled to take place on 11th May, with a unique nighttime setting for the first time.
The Green Half Marathon holds significant importance for D-Marin Lefkas, part of the D-Marin selection of premium marinas, which has been the primary sponsor for several years, supporting the growth of the event and helping it become one of the most important athletic events in the Ionian Islands.
With participants anticipated from across the globe, the event serves as a platform to join and promote a healthy, eco-friendly lifestyle. The race will feature various categories including 5km, 10km, the half marathon, and a 1000m race for children aged between 6-15 years old, promising a blend of fitness and enjoyment.
In line with D-Marin’s commitment to promoting and protecting the region as a renowned yachting destination, the Green Half Marathon takes place in an environment of high ecological importance, including the Lagoon of Lefkada, protected by NATURA.
