The commitment applies to all those who appreciate and respect the sea and want to spread the message for enhanced maritime safety in Greece and whole Mediterranean Sea.
The ambassadorship was celebrated on the Greek ‘National Day for the Prevention of Sea Accidents and Drownings’ last month in an training at Zea Marina held in conjunction with HELMEPA and its partners, ENAK and MEPP.
Areti Priovolou, Health, Safety and Environment Officer at D-Marin said: “Safety at sea is an important part of our commitment to create a safe working environment and leisure facilities in alignment with our robust ESG strategy and Health and Safety policy. We’re delighted to have extended our commitment in Greece to become an ambassador with HELMEPA.”
Konstantina Leontsini, Assistant Manager of Zea Marina, received the safety ambassador certificate from HELMEPA’s Head of Strategy and Development, Constantinos Triantafillou and commented: “It was a great event to mark all the hard work we put into the training and achieving the ambassadorship. I was delighted to receive the certificate from HELMEPA which is proudly on display at our marina and will continue to encourage all to think about safety in and around Zea Marina and the wider network.”
D-Marin aims to enhance the safety training across all its 20 marinas, extending the importance of its commitment to safety regulations and instructions across its entire network.
