On July 3, the Government of the Republic of Slovenia passed a decision on the classification of countries into three categories, following which different levels of epidemiological measures are applied. Croatia is on the yellow list, which means that entry into Slovenia without quarantine is allowed for all Slovenian citizens, foreigners with permanent or temporary residence in Slovenia and citizens of EU or Schengen member states, except Sweden and Portugal.
It states that all passengers can transit Slovenia without any obligation - no quarantine nor negative COVID-19 tests.
According to the Croatian Tourist Board (CNTB), more than 1.7 million tourists have visited Croatia since the beginning of the year, with over 8.7 million overnight stays. In order to prevent crowds on the border with Croatia the advice is to fill out the form available onentercroatia.mup.hrbefore arrivals. Also, there are special lanes at border crossings Bregana, Macelj, Rupa and Plovanija for guests who filled in and submitted the Enter Croatia form before arrival.
