The program of the fifth D-Marin Sea Film Festival will include Finest Hours, Legend of 1900, In The Heart of The Sea and Dunkirk, respectively. Free screenings will start every night at 21:00. Guests will be accepted to the open air cinema with their masks accordngto the pandemic measures and sitted by maintaining social distance.
True stories and legends
Reflecting different aspects of the blue world to the big screen, the opening film of the festival,Finest Hours, tells about the biggest ship rescue operation of the coast guard in the history.
Legend of 1900, Italian director Giuseppe Tornatore's film is about the sad story of a pianist whose life takes place in the transatlantic. The film takes the audience to a pleasant cruise on August 28 with the acting of Tim Roth.
The story ofIn The Heart of The Sea, which inspired Moby Dick and considered one of the greatest novels of all time, invites viewers to track the whales with the Essex cruise ship crew in the Middle of the Sea on August 29.
The closing film of the festival,Dunkirk, depicts the struggle to evacuate the British army and allied soldiers who were trapped by the German army on the shores of Dunkirk during World War II.
