Croatian D-Marin marinas to receive Blue Flag award
We are proud to announce that four Croatian marinas: Borik, Dalmacija, Tribunj and Mandalina have been awarded with the Blue flag for 2024!
The award ceremony will take place on 24th of May 2024 in Skradin near Šibenik.
The Blue Flag award is an international eco-label awarded to beaches, marinas, and sustainable boating tourism operators that meet certain criteria related to environmental management, water quality, safety, and education. The program was founded in France in 1985 and has since become a globally recognized symbol of high environmental standards and quality in coastal areas.
Receiving the Blue Flag award is not only a recognition of a site's environmental efforts but also a boost for tourism, as it indicates to visitors that the beach or marina is clean, safe, and sustainably managed. Additionally, the Blue Flag encourages communities and businesses to strive for environmental excellence and promotes awareness of the importance of protecting coastal ecosystems.
